Photos and especially printed images that we look at often help us to retain our memories of a moment in time, and provide endless conversations of a time when our children were little or an event that we attended. They can be such nostalgic moments and often hard to share the true emotion when we try to explain using only words to family and friends who were not there at the time or too young to remember.

However an image can convey so much, the atmosphere at a special moment in your life, the feeling that a look can evoke, it can capture love, and our everyday lives.

Where we live in a digital era, often the sheer volume of photos we can take with our phones means that they can get lost somewhere on a memory card or in the cloud, never to be revisited. What will the younger generation have to look back on when our memory cards fail, or photos get lost in the cloud as our passwords fade from memory.
